That’s such a deep and thoughtful reflection brother Bryan John 1 : 14 is truly one of the most awe inspiring verses in all of Scripture The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us We have seen His glory the glory of the one and only Son who came from the Father full of grace and truth It’s hard for the human mind to fully grasp how the eternal Word who spoke the universe into existence stepped into His own creation and became one of us yet that’s the heart of the Gospel The Creator became like His creation so He could redeem it Philippians 2: 6 to 8 says Though He was in the form of God He did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped but emptied Himself by taking the form of a servant being born in the likeness of men And being found in human form He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death even death on a cross What a picture of love and humility The One who holds all power chose to lay it down for us Colossians 1 : 16 to 17 echoes this truth For in Him all things were created things in heaven and on earth visible and invisible whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities all things have been created through Him and for Him He is before all things and in Him all things hold together This mystery of the Word becoming flesh isn’t just theology it’s the heartbeat of our faith Emmanuel God with us stepped into our brokenness to restore us back to Himself It’s beyond comprehension yet beautifully simple love came down to dwell among us

Sometimes I’m glad I don’t fully understand Him bc then He wouldn’t be God and I think make me complacent not to keep searching and knowing Him.

Exactly correct. If we could understand Him, we would immediately endeavor to subjugate Him to our wills—seek to manipulate Him to our ends, even as people already do with bad doctrine, but this would be worse.

Yes. Wouldn’t want to worship someone I can manipulate, subjugate. I’m thankful He made me, knows me, understands me, forgives me, and loves me anyway.

Brother Sometimes God’s ways are beyond our comprehension, and that’s exactly what makes Him God.If we could fully understand Him,His majesty, wisdom, and power wouldn’t inspire awe and reverence Your desire to keep seeking Him is beautiful Deuteronomy 29:29 says, The secret things belong to the Lord our God,but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. It’s amazing that He knows us intimately, forgives us,and loves us endlessly Psalm 139:1–4 reminds us O Lord, you have searched me and known me!You know when I sit down and when I rise up;you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways Even before a word is on my tongue, behold,O Lord, you know it altogether Let’s keep walking with Him,learning, growing, and marveling at His perfect wisdom and love. His mystery keeps our hearts humble and hungry for more of Him.

Very profound. God came to us. Although transcendent, omniscient, omniscient, omnipotent, came to be w us, immanent, Immanuel and we are none of those things. He spoke and the world came to be. So in another way His word is shown in images and physically in His creation, His children, too. His Word/words was/were written for us. He physically showed us His Word/word. He wanted His Word/s to be written and thus shown in our lives. Like He did. So His Word did become physical, alive. They bring truth, light, life because they are from Him who are all these things; because He’s the Truth, Light, and Life!
